Character Registry

A single searchable directory of named characters across the world. Principal protagonists, guild officers, historical figures, houses of note, and supporting cast. Each entry is a stub with the load-bearing facts; fuller profiles live in other documents.

Entries are grouped by category. Within each category, names are listed alphabetically. Where a character has canonical detail, it is given; where the detail is open, it is marked.

Archon of Chaos. Left Hand of the Alum-sidek Alliance. Adopted (or blood) heir of House Corveliss, the family that holds the charter for the inter-provincial magnerail. Speaks on behalf of Nathia Tolleman on the Council, in royal formal register. Private name Cyl is used only by Oen and a very small circle. Full profile:.

Archetype shortcut. Batman who is willing to kill. Cyl holds herself to an absolute standard of loyalty to those she has chosen, carries the moral austerity of a self-made protector, and crosses the line Bruce Wayne will not cross when the stakes require it. This shortcut is for writers’ reference and is not to be cited in-world.

Physical register (from Campfire notes). Athletic build disguised by layered, high-register court dress; the physique is not advertised. Carriage is deliberately understated in public, deliberately efficient in private. Decisive to a fault. Does not hesitate to kill when the calculus is clear. Loyalty, once given, is total; the path to that loyalty is narrow.

Archon of Order. Junior infrastructure worker. Raised in the Steam Tunnel community. Full profile:.

Each guild is listed with its Leader, Right, and Left. Fuller disposition, register, and politics:.

Three-layer architecture note. The guild Leaders below are public-operational figures. Most are also Council of 18 members (the secret coordinating cabal) and most are also heads of their houses (senate-seated at the public political layer). The Temple of the One is the structural exception at its full-canon state: Alont is the public Leader and Niska holds the Council seat through the inner teaching. The figures who are at full standing at book one (Aesen, Searlis, Olandra, Lady Summer, Niska, Gren, Vazzerin, Nathia, Pershaun, Berreldin, Fidi’olliana, and others by age) stay at their locked positions. Full canon: (Senate of Great Houses), (three-layer architecture intro), (class pyramid and control mechanisms). Per-character three-layer position canon (senate, trade lodge, Council, city residence, homeland connection, dome relationship) is in 19-CHARACTER-PROFILES/ for the principal cast.
